PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon authentication system for enabling a store side to authenticate the use right of a user of a portable terminal which displays a coupon by a simple system, and for enabling a system side to specify the user and the use place.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 2 displays a coupon detail screen 41 of a coupon, and when a use button 41b of the coupon detail screen 41 is depressed, accepts the input of an authentication code from a clerk of a store. A coupon management server 1 receives an authentication code from the portable terminal 2, and determines whether or not the authentication code is coincident with the preliminarily stored authentication code of the store. When those authentication codes are coincident with each other, the portable terminal 2 displays a confirmation screen 43, and when a use completion OK button is selected, the portable terminal 2 transmits a coupon code, the authentication code and a terminal ID. The coupon management server 1 stores the received coupon code, authentication code and terminal ID and a reception date. The portable terminal 2 displays a use confirmation completion screen 44. |
