<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat knitting machine including movable sinkers in which restrictions on the allowable shapes of a torque spring and each sinker can be reduced even when the stress of the torque spring is prevented from becoming excessive in a sinker open state for a part receiving the action of a sinker jack.SOLUTION: A passive arm 11c of a sinker 11 diverges from a portion between a supporting part 11a and an action arm 11b. Even when a sinker jack 12 is retreated in the direction of being apart from a needle bed gap 2, and the sinker 11 is brought into an open state, pressing force from a pressing part 12d onto the side of another end 13b becomes weak, so that the stress of a torque spring can be prevented from becoming excessive in the sinker open state. It is not necessary to make the pressing part 12d and a front end part 12c of the sinker jack 12 close to each other, so that restrictions on the allowable shapes of the sinker 11 and a torque spring 13 can be reduced.</p> |
