<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable semiconductor device and a driving method of the same.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device which includes a holding capacitor having light transmissivity and a MOS capacitor structure, and a semiconductor film with light transmissivity functioning as one electrode of the holding capacitor and electrically connected to a capacitance line, performs means for suppressing a shift of threshold voltage of the holding capacitor in a plus direction, in a period where an image is not displayed. For example, a shift of threshold voltage of the holding capacitor in the plus direction is suppressed by applying a negative bias to a pixel electrode functioning as the other electrode of the holding capacitor.</p> |
