An array substrate and a method for manufacture thereof, and a display device. A first conductive pattern (5) connected to a low level potential, a second conductive pattern (3) on the same layer as a STV signal line (2), and an insulating layer between the first conductive pattern (5) and the second conductive pattern (3) are formed on the array substrate. The first conductive pattern (5), the insulating layer and the second conductive pattern (3) have an overlapped area to form a storage capacitor. A conductive tip (6) facing toward the second conductive pattern (3) is formed in a position, corresponding to the second conductive pattern (3), on the STV signal line (2).
