<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel production method, a novel production process and a novel intermediate useful for synthesis of pharmaceutically active compounds, especially renin inhibitors, e.g. aliskiren.SOLUTION: A method of producing compounds of formula (II) or their salt, compounds of formula (VI) and their salts and a method of producing the compounds of formula (VI) or their salts are provided. In the formulae, R, Rand Act are as described in the specification. A method of producing novel compounds (VIII) serving as direct precursors for preparation of aliskiren and a method of producing the compounds (VIII) by reacting compounds (VI) with metal organic compounds (VII) are also provided.</p> |
