A method for realizing long-range positioning of an intelligent terminal, and an intelligent terminal. The method comprises: in the state where a main battery is powered off abnormally, an intelligent terminal starting a built-in standby battery to enter a normal power-on state; and the intelligent terminal responding to a positioning instruction sent by a server to conduct location positioning, and feeding back information about the positioned location to the server to store. Therefore, accuracy and timely long-range positioning is conducted on the intelligent terminal after the intelligent terminal is stolen, thereby rendering it theft-proof. |
