The present invention relates to an electric vehicle charging system and a communication method therefor, and more specifically, to a communication method for operating and managing an electric vehicle charging infrastructure and a system adopting the method, which enables an operation and management system to directly send control information in order to control a charger without receiving a connection request of the charger and which prevents overload on an infrastructure system.
