摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for relaxing tension of an overhead line for an electric power transmission tower. Female screw parts having right and left hand threads are formed at left and right sides of a rotational shaft of a driving motor rotatable in normal-opposite directions. Left and right side driving screws having left and right hand threads are screw-coupled to the female screw parts, and left and right overhead lines for electric power transmission are connected to the left and right driving screws through connecting means and insulators. Therefore, the tension of the left and right overhead lines for electric power transmission placed at both sides can be simultaneously relaxed by using the single driving motor without using high pressure gas, thereby minimizing the installation costs of the electric power transmission tower. Elements for relaxing tension, such as a driving motor, driving screw, rotation preventing means, connecting means and a tension sensor, etc., are arranged in a protecting cover in a simple in-line structure. Since the installation of the protecting cover to the electric power transmission tower is implemented by only fixing the protecting cover to an arm of the electric power transmission tower, the protecting cover can be easily installed to the electric power transmission tower. In addition, since the elements are installed in the protecting cover, the elements can be prevented from being contaminated with snow, rain or dust, and the like so that the apparatus can be prevented from being out of order due to contamination.
