PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of easily discriminating a food item in a storage room.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a storage room partitioned by heat insulation walls and a heat insulation door 10 and storing therein stored items; illuminating devices 34-1 and 34-2 provided in the storage room; partition shelves 30-1 to 30-4 partitioning a storage space of the storage room; a cooler cooling the storage room; the heat insulation door 10 covering the storage room; imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2 picking up images of the storage room; a memory unit storing images picked up by the imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2; and a controller exerting controls. The control unit turns on the illuminating devices 34-1 and 34-2 at predetermined timing, the imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2 pick up the images of an interior of the storage room, and the control unit stores the images picked up by the imaging devices 35-1 and 35-2 together with time information indicating each imaging date in the memory unit with the images associated with respective imaging dates.
