PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly determine electrical connection between storage elements used as unit cells during manufacture of a power supply module.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 includes: an electrode body; a container for housing the electrode body composed of a container body 10 and a lid part 20, an electrode terminal 31a of a positive electrode and an electrode terminal 31b of a negative electrode being provided on the lid part 20; and a coating body 11 for coating the whole or a part of the side face of the container throughout the entire periphery thereof. The coating body 11 is partitioned into long distinguishable coated regions 11a1 and 11a2, and the long distinguishable regions 11a1 and 11a2 are associated with the electrode terminals 31 and 32.
