PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens which achieves higher resolution performance while decreasing the total length thereof, and an imaging apparatus including the imaging lens.SOLUTION: An imaging lens substantially consists of, in order from an object side, five lenses of a first lens L1 that has a biconvex shape, a second lens L2 that has a negative refractive power, a third lens L3, a fourth lens L4 that has a positive refractive power, and a fifth lens L5 that has a negative refractive power and has an aspheric shape of an object side surface and image side surface. Further, the imaging lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions. |
