one or more block faces having an outer surface intended for abutment against an outer surface of a corresponding toy block; the block face further comprising: plural holes; plural pegs for frictional engagement into the holes of the corresponding toy block; wherein at least two pegs on the block face are engaged to at least two holes of the corresponding block, and at least two pegs of the corresponding block are engaged to at least two holes of the block face.
