Methods and devices are provided for controlling the measurements and reports generated in a User Equipment configurable in multi carrier transmission mode are provided. The UE is connectable to a cellular radio network and configured to dynamically enable/disable the measurements and reports such that the enabling/disabling is performed in response to pre- defined triggering condition(s).
