PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric capable of improving composite physical properties of a composite material.SOLUTION: The method for producing a nonwoven fabric is a method for producing a nonwoven fabric formed from non-crimped fibers and crimped fibers and includes: a blending process for blending non-crimped fibers and crimped fibers at a prescribed ratio; a web formation process for forming a nonwoven fabric having a web through the blending process; a sizing agent treatment process for attaching a sizing agent onto the nonwoven fabric in which the web is formed; an attached amount control process for controlling an attached amount of the sizing agent in the nonwoven fabric to which the sizing agent is attached; and a drying process for continuously drying the nonwoven fabric in which the attached amount of the sizing agent is controlled.
