PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device to which attaching/detaching work of a battery can be easily performed and in which size is reduced and portability is improved.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: recording means for performing recording to a medium conveyed toward a side of a first face constituting a periphery of the device body from a side of a second face that is an opposite side face to the first face; ejection means for ejecting the medium to which recording is performed by the recording head from the first face; a cutout part formed at a corner part made by a top face of the device body and the second face; and a battery detachably provided at the cutout part, constituting a part of the top face of the device body and a part of the second face in an attaching state. |
