<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus to perform image formation on a continuous paper recording medium by ink jet printing method, particularly a continuous paper recording medium transport device and an image forming which are configured to suppress the occurrence of paper powder in order to prevent discharge failure due to attachment of the paper powder to an ink jet head discharge surface.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus performs an image formation on a continuous paper recording medium while transporting the continuous paper recording medium along a transport passage. A relative speed of the continuous paper recording medium and a transport surface of the transport passage is set to be 0 in a bent part of the transport passage which exists at least immediately before an image formation part to perform the image formation on the continuous paper recording medium.</p> |
