<p>Disclosed is an X-ray imaging device which comprises an X-ray generator for generating an X-ray beam and a narrow detector for receiving the X-ray beam and generating projection data on a region of interest corresponding to part of a subject, and which controls an optimum trajectory for image acquisition processing, and an imaging method for the X-ray imaging device. According to the present invention, the cost of the X-ray imaging device can be minimized and exposure of patients to radiation can be minimized since a cross-sectional image of the widest region possible of a subject which requires X-ray imaging can be obtained using the narrow detector instead of a large expensive detector. In addition, according to the present invention, the generation of artifacts can be minimized and an image reconstruction procedure can be simplified, thereby reducing the time required to process data.</p> |
