A cosmetic composition comprising hyaluronic acid is provided to confer the excellent plumping effects on the lip by improving volume and lasting of lip, and strengthening color of lip, and inhibit irritation to lip. A lip-plumping cosmetic composition comprises 0.01-30 wt.% of base type hyaluronic acid hydrogel nanoparticle having high skin absorption and water-swellability for improving volume and lasting of lip and optionally 0.001-1 wt.% of niacin for swelling the blood vessel in the lip, wherein the base type hyaluronic acid hydrogel nanoparticle contains 1-10 wt.% of hyaluronic acid hydrogel nanoparticle, 2-5 wt.% of thickener and 85-97 wt.% of oil. |
