PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel type hybrid drive device which flexibly controls charging of a battery according to a load of a work machine.SOLUTION: A hybrid drive device includes: an engine; a filter part; a generator; a battery; a motor; and a transmission part. The filter part is disposed in an exhaust passage of the engine and purifies an exhaust gas. The generator generates electric power by a driving force of the engine. The battery is charged by the generator generating the electric power. The motor is driven by the electric power generated by the generator or the electric power charged in the battery. The transmission part transmits the driving force of the engine and a driving force of the motor for at least driving a work machine. The hybrid drive device performs charging speed increase control, in which the driving force transmitted from the engine to the generator is increased, when a load of the work machine is equal to or lower than a predetermined value. |
