PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer tube reinforcement tool and a heat transfer tube expansion method capable of suppressing the deformation of a heat transfer tube arranged around an expansion target heat transfer tube during expansion.SOLUTION: A reinforcement tool 1 comprises: a rubber portion 3 expanding or contracting in a radial direction; and a fastening portion 4 expanding the rubber portion 3 in the radial direction and keeping the rubber portion 3 in a state of expanding the rubber portion 3 by sandwiching the rubber portion 3 from both sides in the axial direction. The reinforcement tool 1 is inserted into a heat transfer tube 17 arranged around a heat transfer tube 16 a diameter of which is to be expanded and fixed to a tube plate 18.
