This method for repairing a plate-shaped member (3), which is disposed so as to partition a high-pressure space and a low-pressure space and which has a cooling pathway (7) that is provided along the plate surface on the interior, includes: an elimination processing step for eliminating a damaged site of the plate-shaped member (3) and exposing the cooling pathway (7); a first addition processing step for filling the region (10) from which material was eliminated in the elimination processing step, blocking the exposed cooling pathway and forming an outer shape that appears undamaged in comparison to the previous outer shape; a first opening-forming step for providing a first opening (13) interconnecting the cooling pathway with the low-pressure space at the upstream side of the position at which the cooling pathway was blocked with respect to the direction in which the coolant flows in the cooling pathway; and a second opening-forming step for providing a second opening (14) interconnecting the cooling pathway to the high-pressure space on the downstream side of the position at which the cooling pathway was blocked.
