<p>Apparatuses, systems and techniques for separating a fluid into different fractions are disclosed. In one non-limiting embodiment, an apparatus includes a tank configured to receive a fluid and first, second and third weirs configured to receive different fractions of the fluid. In one form when the fluid is present, a first conduit provides a first fraction of the fluid from a first location in a lower portion of the tank to the first weir, a second conduit provides a second fraction of the fluid from a second location above the first location to the second weir, and the third weir is positioned in an upper portion of the tank and at least partially surrounded by a third fraction of the fluid. In one non-limiting aspect of this form, the fluid is a mixture of oil and water. Additional and/or alternative embodiments, forms, features and aspects are disclosed herein.</p> |
