PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glass mold lens capable of reducing generation of surface astigmatism, curling and appearance failure of the glass mold lens in an annealing treatment, and to provide a tool for the annealing treatment.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass mold lens includes a glass molding step for molding glass mold lenses 1000a, 1000b by subjecting a preform to glass molding, and an annealing step for performing an annealing treatment by blowing inert gas F to the glass mold lenses 1000a, 1000b from below to float the glass mold lenses 1000a, 1000b.
