<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscosity controlling agent which brings about higher viscosity in the case of low shear compared with any conventionally used viscosity controlling agent, and which has excellent water resistance.SOLUTION: A viscosity controlling agent which is a reaction product of isocyanurate with an alkylene oxide (AO) addition product of a monohydric alcohol is provided. Each of bonds with isocyanuric acid is independently a 4-16C divalent hydrocarbon group, each of terminals of the AO addition product is independently a 12-36C hydrocarbon group, and the number of moles of added AOs is independently 10-500 in number, and each of AOs represents independently a 2-4C divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group.</p> |
