<p>Disclosed are a proximity service server selection method and apparatus, and a user registration method and apparatus. The method comprises: when a home subscriber server (HSS) sends subscription information, the HSS sending, to a mobility management entity (MME), proximity service server identifier information and capability information that a user performs subscription to authorize use of a proximity service, the proximity service server identifier information and the capability information being carried in the subscription information; and the MME selecting a proximity service server according to the proximity service server identifier information obtained in the subscription information or configured. A selection unit is configured to select a proximity service server according to the proximity service server identifier information obtained in the subscription information or configured in the selection unit. By using the present invention, for a problem of how a proximity service server manages a user, and a problem of how to coordinate operation between an application server using a proximity service and a network after the proximity service server is introduced, a specific implementation solution is provided.</p> |
