<p>The present invention relates to a malodor-blocking system for a manhole, and more specifically to a malodor-blocking catch basin and a malodor-blocking system for a manhole having same, the malodor-blocking catch basin being disposed on a manhole of a gutter or a sewer drain, which catches rain water and such, so as to prevent malodor or pest therefrom escaping above ground. A malodor-blocking catch basin according to the present invention is disposed on the upper part of a manhole, and is supported on a fixed frame having a plurality of rectangular open slots which are open from top to bottom, wherein a malodor-blocking catch basin is disposed at each rectangular open slot, and each malodor-blocking catch basin comprises: a pair of side sealing plates disposed on each short side of the open slot; a pair of supporting frames, both ends of which are coupled to the side sealing plates, and each of which are disposed on each long side of the open slot; and a pair of opening/closing doors, both ends of which are hinge-coupled to the sealing side plates, for opening the open slot by rotating from a closed position to an opened position due to the weight of the fluid.</p> |
