PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin which has flexibility and excellent low water absorption and strength.SOLUTION: An epoxy resin has chemical structures of formula (1) and (2) in the principal chain: (1) a chemical structure of hexamethylene diol with the terminal hydrogen removed; (2) a chemical structure of bisphenol with the terminal hydrogen removed.
