PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical pencil type refill that does not depend on accuracy of a length dimension of a lead tank when setting a knock play amount.SOLUTION: A refill includes: a spring housing cylindrical part 26 arranged on the front end side of a shaft cylinder 15; a partition wall 26a of an inner wall surface of the spring housing cylindrical part 26; a first spring 23 supported by a connector cylindrical part 30 that contacts the partition wall 26a; a second spring 24 whose front end contacts the partition wall 26a, and whose rear end biases a chuck part 17 backward; the connector cylindrical part 30 arranged inside the spring housing cylindrical part 26 between the front end of the first spring 23 and a clutch ring 27; and a joint cylindrical part arranged inside the connector cylindrical part 30 whose front end is fixed to the rear end of the chuck part 17 and extends backward, and whose rear end is locked to the second spring 24. A driven part 22b that is arranged in front of the partition wall 26a and engages by the advancement of the partition wall 26a is provided on the outer wall surface of the joint cylindrical part. |
