PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake system enabling reduction in uncomfortable feeling of a driver caused when using a control technology for automatically switching from hydraulic braking force control to operation control of an electric parking brake device.SOLUTION: A brake system 10 comprises: a hydraulic braking device for applying hydraulic braking force to wheels by supplying hydraulic pressure to wheel cylinders 60FL-60RR; an electric parking brake device attached to at least one of the wheels and applying braking force to the wheel by driving an electric actuator; and an ECU 84 that executes supply/discharge control of the hydraulic pressure to each wheel cylinder 60FL-60RR by the hydraulic braking device and operation control of the electric parking brake device regardless of braking requiring operation of the driver. When a speed state of a vehicle satisfies predetermined speed condition during hydraulic braking pressure control relative to all of the wheels, the ECU 84 makes a transition from the hydraulic braking pressure control relative to all of the wheels to hydraulic braking pressure control relative to the wheel to which the electric parking brake device is attached. |
