According to an embodiment, an electronic device is provided with an alignment means, a weight computing means, and a composite image computing means. The alignment means aligns, with a first image wherein a subject is photographed, a second image wherein the subject is photographed from a different location from the first image. The weight computing means computes a first evaluation value corresponding to a pixel in the first image, computes a second evaluation value corresponding to a pixel in the aligned second image, and computes a weight on the basis of the first evaluation value and the second evaluation value. The composite image computation means computes a composite image by carrying out weighted addition of the pixel in the first image and the pixel in the aligned second image, on the basis of the weight. |
