This power control system is provided with the following: a power supply means; a load means; a power storage means that charges or discharges power; a power storage control means that, when a supply and demand difference which indicates the difference between a total power supply amount and a total power consumption amount exceeds a specific range set in advance, carries out control so that the supply and demand difference is kept within a specific range by causing the power storage means to charge or discharge power, and that controls the power storage means so that the power which is subject to charging or discharging is decreased over a response duration which is in accordance with a set time-constant for power storage means-use; and a power supply amount control means that carries out control for causing the power supply means to change the power supplied thereby, over a response duration which is in accordance with a set time-constant for power supply means-use, so that the supply and demand power difference is kept within a specific range set in advance. The time constant for power storage means-use is set to be longer than the time constant for power supply means-use. |
