摘要 <p>Disclosed are a parking guidance system and a parking guidance method which are capable of identifying a vehicle using a visible light communication device installed in the vehicle when the vehicle enters a parking lot, and are capable of accurately guiding the vehicle to a parking position through an LED signage installed at a corner when the vehicle is parked. The parking guidance system comprises: a visible light transceiver part mounted on the vehicle transmitting and receiving a visible light containing information on the vehicle; a vehicle sensor installed at the entrance and the exit of the parking lot which receives the information on the vehicle from the visible light transceiver part; a plurality of parking surface sensors installed in the respective parking surfaces of a unit parking lot sensing whether the parking surfaces are occupied or not; a plurality of parking guidance display parts displaying the moving direction of the vehicle to the parking surface available for parking; and a central control server which controls the parking guidance display parts so that the vehicle can be guided to an unoccupied parking surface by receiving the information on the vehicle from the vehicle sensor and identifying the unoccupied state of the parking surfaces. Therefore, the parking guidance system is capable of directly guiding the vehicle to an unoccupied surface because the system receives the information on the vehicle and then guides the vehicle to the unoccupied parking surface, such that the driver can directly drive the vehicle to the parking surface, without continuously driving the vehicle for an available parking surface.</p>
