<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-axis clamping device and a multi-axis clamping method in which replacement work itself is made less burdensome and can be performed in a short time.SOLUTION: A lower bearing case 16 of each pitch conversion mechanism part is fit in each groove formed in the Y-axis plate, by horizontally inserting a Y-axis plate 24, and the positioning in the X-axis direction of each lower bearing case is performed. The positioning in the X-axis direction of each lower bearing case is performed, so that the positioning in the X-axis direction of each socket is also performed.
