PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduction in man-hours during manufacturing.SOLUTION: A multitube heat exchanger comprises a distribution header 4 and an assembly header 6 for a first fluid 3 separated by tube plates 2 and 5 and provided on both ends of a vessel 1, respectively. A tube group 8 including a plurality of heat transfer tubes 9 connected to the headers 4 and 6 are provided in an annular tube group installation region 7 between the tube plates 2 and 5. In the tube group installation region 7, divided sections 7a and 7b separated by axial baffles 10a and 10b in parallel to an axial center direction of the vessel 1 and extending in a radial direction are formed at positions distant from each other by 180 degrees in a circumferential direction, respectively. Second fluid circulation paths are formed in the respective divided sections 7a and 7b so that a second fluid 11 flows alternately outward and inward in the radial direction. The first fluid 3 circulated in the respective heat transfer tubes 9 is subjected to heat exchange with the second fluid 11 flowing outside of the tubes in the respective divided sections 7a and 7b. By removing holes into which the heat transfer tubes 9 are inserted from the axial baffles 10a and 10b, it is possible to dispense with a hole forming step at a time of manufacturing the multitube heat exchanger.
|
