PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking assistant suppressing an obstacle in a forward direction of a vehicle mounting the parking assistant from being overlooked, and an on-vehicle device and a portable terminal used for this parking assistant.SOLUTION: A vehicle control ECU 210 performs a process for acquiring images picked up by a camera 100 and obtaining a viewpoint converted compound image, and receives an operation for a parking command from a portable terminal 300 to the vehicle control ECU 210, and the portable terminal 300 displays the viewpoint converted compound image and the picked up images on a display 311. If the parking command is input via an operation input portion 312 of the portable terminal 300, the viewpoint converted compound image and the picked up image at a dead angle from a position of the portable terminal 300 are displayed by two-screen display.
