<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which has sufficiently low kinematic viscosities at 40°C and 100°C and a sufficiently low HTHS viscosity at 100°C while keeping an HTHS viscosity at 150°C.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition comprises a lubricant base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 2.0-12 mm/s and a viscosity index improver having a weight average molecular weight of 5,000-1,000,000 and a ratio of viscosity/oil film thickness of 0.2 or lower, and the content of the viscosity index improver is 0.1-50 mass% relative to the total amount of the lubricant composition.</p> |
