<p>A description is given of an insertion device for inserting a tampon, comprising two coaxial sleeves inserted one into another, of which the inner sleeve comprising the tampon and the outer sleeve can be moved with respect to one another, and a space which is radially bounded by the outer surface of the inner sleeve and the inner surface of the outer sleeve, which space is longitudinally bounded by front and rear seals. The front seal is designed to bring lubricant from the space into contact with the tampon detained within the outer sleeve when the sleeves are being telescoped out, wherein the inner sleeve is provided with a front end with radially springing holding members which, when the sleeves are being telescoped in again, move the tampon out, while bending radially inwards and engaging the tampon at the surface thereof. Furthermore, a method and devices for manufacturing insertion devices are described.</p> |
