Chalcone photoalignment material with maleimide derivative as main chain and the synthetic method thereof

The present invention relates to a chalcone photoalignment material with a maleimide based main chain and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a chalcone photoalignment material which has excellent solubility, photoalignment stability and thermal stability by the formation of a chemical structure, wherein a chalcone based photoreactive group is connected to a main chain of a maleimide derivative. A manufacturing method for a polymaleimide based compound including a chalcone group comprises: i) a step of synthesizing polymaleimide derivatives through the reaction of primary amines and maleic anhydride derivatives; ii) a step of synthesizing chalcone derivatives; and iii) a step of esterifying the polymaleimide derivatives of step i) and the chalcone derivatives of step ii).
