<p>The present invention relates to a method and a device for setting channels in a mobile communications terminal. The method for setting channels in a mobile communications terminal disclosed in the present invention comprises: a step of transmitting a radio resource control (RRC) connection request message 1 to a first frequency band cell in an RRC idle state; a step of receiving a response message 1 for the RRC connection request message 1 from the first frequency band cell; a step of transmitting an RRC connection request message 2 to a second frequency band cell if the response message 1 is an RRC connection reject message; a step of receiving a response message 2 for the RRC connection request message 2 from the second frequency band cell; and a step of transmitting an RRC connection setting complete message to the second frequency band cell if the response message 2 is an RRC connection setting message. As a result, the process of an RRC connection is performed smoothly, and therefore the standby time of a mobile communications terminal for a data service is minimized.</p> |
