PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird's eye view image display device of which detection precision in non-load surface region is improved.SOLUTION: On a bird's eye view image display device 1, a camera image of vehicle periphery imaged by an on-vehicle camera is converted into bird's eye view image, and by applying a differential process on two bird's eye view images having different imaging times, a differential image is obtained in which a load surface region is removed from a bird's eye view image and a non-load surface region is extracted. In this case, a scan process is performed on the differential image with at least two reference positions as centers, to obtain an integration value of a difference of a differential image. Based on the integration value of the difference, a non-load surface region is detected in the differential image. By applying a distortion correction process to the non-load surface region, a pre-composite image is generated from the bird's eye view image. Then, by compositing a plurality of pre-composite images, a bird's eye view multi-camera image is generated, for displaying the bird's eye view image multi-camera image. |
