A crisper and sealing apparatus and a refrigerator fitted with the crisper and sealing apparatus. The crisper and sealing apparatus comprises a drawer (3), a cover body (2), and a shelf (1). The cover body is suspended below the shelf. The top surface of the drawer and the bottom surface of the cover body are configured as planes inclined downwardly from the front to the rear. Sealing or opening of the drawer is implemented by means of frontward/rearward horizontal movements of the cover body. The refrigerator comprises a refrigeration chamber (5). The refrigeration chamber is provided therein with multiple ventilation holes. The refrigeration chamber is fitted therein with the crisper and sealing apparatus. At least one of the ventilation holes is lower than the position of the cover body. By sliding the cover body, the crisper and sealing apparatus of the present invention allows the size of an opened ventilation gap to be adjusted, thereby satisfying the requirements of different items stored. When the drawer is in an opened position, air outside of the drawer and air inside of the drawer form a circulating exchange, thereby achieving rapid air exchange. When the drawer is in a closed state, the cover body and the drawer form a highly-sealed state. Such sealed environment at the same time is capable of preventing the evaporation of water, thus achieving the effect of moisture retention.
