a plunger configured to advance a distance into a container holding a material; a pushing mechanism configured, upon an actuation of the pushing mechanism of a distance, to apply a force to a spring element; and the spring element configured to apply the force to the plunger and configured to dampen the distance moved by the pushing mechanism from the distance moved by the plunger.
