<p>A device for the supply of fuel from a fuel tank (1) to a high pressure part (2) of a system for fuel injection in a combustion engine, having at least one electrically operated pump (10) arranged in a conduit between the fuel tank and the high pressure part. Means (17) are arranged to measure the power consumption of the pump, as well as means (18) to measure the engine speed of the pump. A device (16) compares the relationship between the measured power consumption and measured engine speed with stored so-called normal values of this relationship and equates discrepancies exceeding a certain level in this comparison with detection of the occurrence of a leakage, or partial or total stop in the conduit (7).</p> |
