<p>A battery cartridge system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an end cover which forms the appearance; at least two unit batteries which generate current by being stacked in the end cover; a pouch which is arranged between the two unit batteries and changes volume by being filled with a volume changing material inside; and a circulation system which controls the pressure of the volume changing material in the pouch and circulates the volume changing material. The circulation system includes: a storage which stores the volume changing material; a compressor which compresses the volume changing material which is supplied from the storage; a battery heat exchanger which exchanges the heat of the volume changing material which is compressed in the compressor; and a reverse direction pressure control valve which controls the quantity of the volume changing material which is discharged from the pouch. The inside of the pouch can be filled with air or refrigerant and exchange heat with the unit batteries to cool or heat the unit batteries. The volume of the pouch is able to add a pressure to the unit batteries and absorb the expansion of the unit batteries by being changed in response to the volume change of the unit batteries.</p> |
