PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing having high whiteness by using a base paper blended with a waste paper pulp.SOLUTION: The invention provides a manufacturing method of a coated paper for printing having the ash content of 30 to 55 wt.% and whiteness of 80% or more, including setting 2 layers of a pigment coated layer containing a pigment and an adhesive agent on a monolayer base paper containing a waste paper pulp of 50 wt.% or more in the whole pulp and having whiteness of 75% or less.
