PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save an installation space and suppress cost increase by down-sizing an optical operation device while avoiding difficulty in routing of an optical fiber due to multiple ports in the optical operation device.SOLUTION: An optical switch device comprises: a multiple core fiber array using one multiple core optical fiber; collimator lenses sequentially arranged in relation to the multiple core fiber array; a pair of anamorphic prisms; a diffraction grating as a dispersive element; a condenser lens as a condensing element; a polarization separation element; a polarization rotation element; and a spatial optical modulator as an optical switch. A plurality of cores 1a in the multiple core optical fiber array 1 are used as input-output ports of wavelength multiplexed signal light OS, a core 1aa is used as the input port, cores 1ab-1ae are used as the output port, and the same collimator lens 12 common to the input and output ports is used. |
