PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent for a porous molded product suitable for an adsorption agent which can rapidly remove harmful substances from drainage water, has large adsorption capacity of harmful substances, has high durability against back washing and causes no fracture even if used repeatedly.SOLUTION: There is provided an inorganic ion adsorbent used for the production of a porous molded product containing an organic polymer and an inorganic ion adsorbent, wherein the nitrate content is 0.01 to 5 wt.%.
