PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform colorful printing using many colors, on the basis of data for printing with a single color or a small number of colors.SOLUTION: A printer control unit 15 comprises a print data acquisition unit 15c, a print data processing unit 15d, and a printing control unit 15e. The print data acquisition unit 15c acquires data representing a print element and a command designating the printing position of the print element. The print data processing unit 15d performs processing of determining the attributes of the print element or processing of replacing the print element to another print element, on the basis of the printing position designated with the command acquired by the print data acquisition unit 15c. |
