PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for cut-line working of a plate glass which enables good cut-line working of a plate glass of a thickness of 0.1-0.3 mm and a method of producing a plate glass.SOLUTION: A cut-line working apparatus includes a support member of a hardness of 50-90°, by JIS K6301 spring system A type, on which a plate glass of a thickness of 0.1-0.3 mm is mounted, a cutter which forms linear cut-lines in the plate glass mounted on the support member and control means of controlling a first pressing pressure at the beginning of the cut-line working at timing when the cutter comes in contact with the plate glass so as for the first pressing pressure to be equal to a second pressing pressure from after the beginning of the cut-line working to completion of the cut-line working and so that the pressing pressure is 1.6-8.0 N. |
