PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good image in forming an image by overlapping developer images showing the image and a developer image to be a ground or covering of the developer image on an image forming target body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes image forming units 10K, 10Y, 10M, and 10C that use a color toner to form color toner images showing images, and an image forming unit 10W that uses a white toner to form a white toner image to be a ground of the color toner images. In forming an image by overlapping the color toner images and the white toner image on a print medium P by the image forming units 10K, 10Y, 10M, 10C, and 10W, the image forming apparatus 100 increases the amount of the color toner used in the formation of the color toner images compared to the case of forming an image on the print medium P without overlapping the color toner images on the white toner image by the image forming units 10K, 10Y, 10M, and 10C. |
